Georgia State Capitol
The Georgia State Capitol building was constructed in 1889 and was designed by architects Edbrooke and Burnham. It has the familiar neoclassical architectural styles that you see in many of the other state capitals, meant to emulate the US Capitol building in Washington D.C.
Atop the capitol is a is 26 foot tall 1,600-pound copper statue of a woman with a torch in one hand and a sword in the other. She is affectionately known as Miss Freedom. The Gold Dome-capital building has become a staple of the Atlanta Skyline.

Centennial Olympic Park
Centennial Olympic Park is a 22-acred park that serves as the centerpiece of Downtown Atlanta. Created in 1996 it was built by the Atlanta Committee for the 1996 Summer Olympics, which were held in Atlanta. Additionally, the park is surrounded by many of Atlanta's top landmarks and attractions.

Fountain of Rings
The centerpiece of the park are the Fountain of Rings. This interactive fountain, featuring computer-controlled lights and jets of water synchronized with music played from speakers in light towers surrounding it. Consisting of of 251 jets that can shoot 12-35 feet in the air.
Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the United States and the fourth largest aquarium in the world housing more than 100,000 sea creatures and containing up to 11 million gallons of water. Notable species include bottlenose Dolphins, Beluga Whales, Manta Rays, California Sea Lions and Sea Otters, Tiger Sharks, African Penguins and two whale sharks.
SkyView Atlanta
Skyview Atlanta is a 20 storied Ferris Wheel featuring 42 climate-controlled gondolas that climb as high as 200 feet. Providing breathtaking panoramic views of downtown and the surrounding metropolitan area.
Opened in July of 2013 it is the latest addition to Atlanta's Impressive Skyline. Those looking for an even more enhanced experience can enjoy VIP gondolas boasting Ferrari style seats, glass floor and a longer flight time.
College Football Hall of Fame
The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, stands as a premier destination for football fans. Opened in 2014, this state-of-the-art museum celebrates the rich history and traditions of college football.
There are over 1,000 players and over 200 coaches inducted into the college football hall of fame. Notre Dame University leads the way with 48 inductees. Here is a surprising aspect, the most inducted position in the hall of fame is the offensive linemen.

Martin Luther King Jr. National Park
The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park covers 35 acres and includes several sites related to the life and work of civil rights icon Martin Luther King.
Established in 1980, the park encompasses several key sites that played pivotal roles in Dr. King's life and the civil rights movement.
Notable sites include his birth home, Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he served as co-pastor with his father, and the King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, which houses the tombs of Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King.

Jackson Street Bridge
